At Funeraly, we understand that creating a funeral speech is a deeply personal experience. We want you to feel confident in your purchase. If our service does not meet your expectations, we offer a straightforward refund policy.
Our Satisfaction Guarantee
We offer a full refund within 7 calendar days of your purchase if you are not satisfied with your funeral speech.
Simple process, no complicated forms. We believe that during difficult times, you should not have to worry about whether you made the right purchase.
Refund Eligibility
To be eligible for a refund, you must meet the following criteria:
- Request within 7 calendar days: Your refund request must be received by us within 7 calendar days of your original purchase date (purchase date being day 0).
- Contact us directly: You must request the refund by contacting us at hello@funeraly.app.
- Provide purchase details: Include the email address used for your purchase so we can locate your order.
- One refund per customer: Refunds are limited to one per customer.
How to Request a Refund
Requesting a refund is simple:
- Send an email to hello@funeraly.app with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include your details: Provide the email address you used to purchase the speech.
- Optional feedback: While not required, we appreciate any feedback about why the service did not meet your expectations. This helps us improve.
We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days.
Refund Processing
Payment Method
Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase. All payments and refunds are processed through Stripe, our secure payment provider.
Processing Time
Once we approve your refund request, please allow:
- 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your credit or debit card statement.
- Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
Currencies
Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original purchase (USD, EUR, or GBP). Exchange rate fluctuations are not covered by Funeraly.
Chargebacks
We strongly encourage you to contact us first if you have any issues with your purchase. Our team is committed to resolving problems quickly and fairly.
Important: Filing a chargeback with your bank or credit card company without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may:
- Delay the resolution of your issue.
- Result in additional fees for both parties.
- Lead to suspension of your access to the Service.
We respond to all chargeback inquiries and provide documentation of the services rendered. Please give us the opportunity to make things right before initiating a dispute with your financial institution.
Digital Content Acknowledgment
By purchasing and accessing your speech, you acknowledge that:
- The digital content (your personalized speech) is delivered immediately upon payment.
- You have expressly consented to immediate delivery and access to the digital content.
- For EU customers: You acknowledge that you lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once the digital content has been fully provided, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.
Despite the above, we still offer our 7-day satisfaction guarantee as described in this policy.
Exceptions & Limitations
While we strive to honor all legitimate refund requests, we reserve the right to deny refunds in cases of:
- Requests received more than 7 calendar days after the original purchase.
- Customers who have previously received a refund from Funeraly.
- Multiple accounts created by the same individual to circumvent refund limits.
- Violation of our Terms of Service.
- Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation.
